Iam quite new to wicca and still learning the basics really but was intrigued by what I have read about spirit guides and wanted to ask forum members about an experience I had a few weeks ago,,,,,

Before I explain, i must add that i have had visitations throughout my life.....not many but my great grandmother appeared to me when I was 7 and shortly after my beloved grandad died in 1999 I just KNEW he was with me as I could smell him EVERYWHERE i went and he appeared to my daughter one evening when she was seeking his guidance......

For this reason, I almost naturally assumed that my grandad was likely to be my spirit guide....however.......the other evening when I went to bed and placed myself in what I would call my relaxed state......I was taken to a grassy field, so green and lush and al around me there was calm, the sun was shining, i could actually feel its warmth, and could hear the birds singing, i saw myself slowing walking through the field until i came to a small grass covered hill in front of me with stone steps placed into the ground going up the hill........upon climbing these steps i came upon a small stone hut with what i can only describe as a man dressed in shepherds clothes holding a crook type stick....I felt no fear, it just felt RIGHT.......I was just about to try and communicate with him when I suddenly lost the relaxed state and came back to reality.........

I just wondered COULD THIS HAVE BEEN MY SPIRIT GUIDE?? and if so how can i try to see him again as I have failed using my relaxation technique since

Not that i am an expert by any shape or form cause i am relatively new to Wicca as well- so i can only give u my opionion.

Because u are so eger 2 see your spirit guide again he will not appear. He/ she appear when u least expect it.

I learnt about spirit guides thro working an aura camra, (the poroid 1 not the moving images 1) after the picture had developed i wud see figures standing by the person that was havin the photos and thing wud just come to me about names and nationalities (surprisingly enough -got a lot of Native American spirit guides) which, in my experience a lot of people have.

Perhaps next time a body, mind & spirit fayre cum near you - it wud be interestin to see if he is on your photo. with his type of dress i wud say he was your guide but thats just my opioion.

I did have the equipment but now that me and my ex dont talk 2 each other - i havent (He had 2 aura camra's - which we both worked at BMS events).

On ma profile i am at chalice well in Glastonbury - the thing that i look like i'm holding is the lid off the well

What's the weirdest thing you ever saw?

George Bush kissing Billy Graham on the cheek at that memorial service on the eve of 9/11. Definitely scary.

It's up 2 you whether u believe me or not - cause if i hadnt of seen it myself i wud not have believed it:

the girl i did a photo for was heavily into angels (which she didnt tell me till l8er)- she managed to manifest an angel with his/her wings spead out over the top of her aura. it was very touching actually, cause when she saw the pic she cried and i cried too cause i'm a big soft arse.

I am kickin myself that i never got a copy of it.

Oh I can believe it, and have no doubt it protects her well ...but there's a big difference between that and the crusades of fundamentalist "holy war" in the name of Exxon or Agip for that matter. There I see a very dark shadow.
