Am thinking of doing their correspondence course - any one done it? Or any other course you could recommend?

I started the OBOD course a while back but never finished it. I can't vouch for the historical or academic accuracy of it, so I'm hoping someone with a bit more knowledge will come in on this thread. What I will say is that I found the material was well written, the advice that came with it for newbies, such as advice about journeying was sound, and the community on the OBOD forum was lovely. My tutor was great, too. The reason I didn't pursue the course was that it involved a lot of reading and practical exercises. I love to read and I know I definitely need to read a bit more on paganism generally, but I found that trying to "be" a Druid or find a spiritual path by following set exercises and ritual forms difficult. I'm not explaining this very well LOL just ask if you don't know what I'm trying to say in this ramble!
Might partly have been because I'd followed a wiccan-based path in my earlier years and although my practices have become more eclectic, I already had ways of doing ritual etc. that worked for me so the OBOD rituals were a bit redundant.
