If you dig about in here phoenixandturtle.net

you can access this rather interesting online paper. Plus a hell of a lot of other very hard to access stuff. Not for the faint hearted though - it's a very academic site. Enjoy!

Ta Herneoak - I have got my resident computer goblin back again. I believe he was away on holiday - probably visiting my T.V. and hairdrier goblins!

When talking about the history of Satanism, I see that those who created Christianity, they themselves created Satanism. First descriptions about satanism came from Christianity. They described Satan, satanic deeds and so on. Satanism is their vision. Then some people who didn’t like Christianity, (and read bible of course, where they did get information about this how satanism looks like), started to follow this Christians’ first description/vision about Satanism. Thats logic and facts.

And I see that Satanism is actually useful for those who created Christianity. Why? One reason of many: to get people’s support You have to show that someone is the enemy. If one doesn’t exist then create it Yourself. Then You can show that we are good and generous and they are bad scum and if You support these bad people not us, then You will go to hell and suffer for eternity.

This is infact pretty much the Ninth Satanic Statement of The Church Of Satan

QUOTE("The Satanic Bible by Anton Szandor LaVey")
9. Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as He has kept it in business all these years!
