hi is there anyone who can give a newy some advice on chosing the right crystal.i`m really worried about my daughter.her emotions are very unbalenced, she`s working 52 hours plus a week, having monthlys twice a month, has had a pannic attack and passed out at work, she also has ibs and is very depressed. She like most young daughters wont listen to any advice i try to give her and as she does`nt live at home,i feel helpless.I have asked her to try and make time for herself, have a good look at the way she lives, what she eats etc,she wont go to the dr`s so what can i do.she wants to change her job but never gets time of to look for a new one.i`m not a doctor but it seems to me that her whole inner body balance is messed up.has anyone any idea if there is a crystal i can get her to help or can she mix/match wear more than one at a time.
thanx.

You must be very worried about your daughter and I can understand why, from what you've said. How do you persuade someone to seek help when they steadfastly refuse to? sad.gif

I'm not really convinced on the power of crystals, so maybe I'm not the person to be answering your query, though I gather rose quartz is supposed to have a balancing effect so perhaps you could try that if you wish?

Does she have any friends you could have a word with - or a partner?

She needs to see a doctor first and foremost - I'd be considering ways and means to get her to do that and I don't honestly believe any crystal will help.

Just my view though, and I sincerely hope she seeks help soon. As someone with IBS I know that stress is one of the main trigger factors and it becomes a vicious circle.

Good luck.

Hi Carrmil smile.gif

Have to agree whole heartedly with Pomona's reply - doc's consultation would be best advised.
I can also see your daughters' point of view - sometimes we get so wrapped up in our body's imbalance we just can't see it for ourselves. Unfortunately it's a side effect of today's 24/7 lifestyle huh.gif
I too was extremely 'out of sync' but never really stopped to think about it (you know, work, car's MOT, school runs, birthday parties, curtains, decorating, hubby's new job - phew!!!). It wasn't until I started a new job myself that I really noticed what I was doing to myself. My second week into the job, I noticed a wee parcel on my desk - it was a rose quartz pendant (from my boss of all peaople!!) with a note telling me to try it blink.gif . This made me think - sh*t! I must be really stressing when even a woman I've only just met can see it laugh.gif
This did make me re - evaluate my thinking. I looked at my diet - d. coke, coffee, coffee, d.coke, mcdees, coffee and MORE coffee ohmy.gif

Anyway to cut a long story short, I cut down on the coffee, started eating regular, balanced meals and wear the rose quartz smile.gif Oh, and saw my Doc re. a hormonal imbalance rolleyes.gif
I still do all the other mundane stuff, it's just not as stressfull anymore.
I also took the time to ask my boss a bit about the crystals (about which I'm now a believer wink.gif ), basically I now 'use' the crystals for relaxation/ me time.

You can use a combination of crystals - rose quartz for emotional balance, orange citrine for IBS.
Once again though - I would only see crystals ( or any other alt. therapy) as a complimentary therapy and seek GP advice primarily.

Hope my ramblings help wacko.gif

Best wishes to you and your daughter,

ha ha u can tell i`m a newy ,had trouble finding how to reply lol.
thank u both for your quick reply ,i agree with u both she really does need to see a dr.Funny enough i have just ordered a rose quartz pendent for her i just wasnt sure if it was the right one.i`m just hoping when i see her next and give it to her she will realise that i am worried and just maybe she will go for advice.
she has a partner how loves her dearly but wont put his foot down hes as worried as i am but shes in tears all the time so he wont say or make her do anything that will make her feel worse,he has asked her to go for check up but got no where like me.

She really must see a DR about the IBS and emotional problems. If the ibs has been diagnosed, there are loads of tablets she can take to help. Tell her to try peppermints/ peppermint oil with the IBS as that is what i use and have very few problems. if they work the doctor can prescribe special peppermint oils tablets to use

I hope things get better for her soon

I am convinced of the power of crystals, hence I dont use them, and thankfully there arent many humans who can, Like someone on another thread said their best left in the ground!

with your daughter, Just be there when she runs out of steam!
