It's very polished and professional but:
How does anyone put so much time and effort into making such a production and not use a speel chucker?

I found it so touching cause it underpinned everything i truely believe in and what Wicca should indeed be (in my opion anyway).
Its beautiful

I agree it's very well produced and polished and it looks terrific (apart from the spelling mistakes).
I think it's great to watch, with following caveats:
It's moving.
It's quite simplistic - Druids = sun worshipers - Wiccans = moon worshipers
But it's well done.
I'm glad we've got that all sorted out then!

I thought it was lovely to look at, but factually inaccurate - ie, the "historical" aspect bore no resemblance to reality.
But the video was very nicely done and I loved some of the pictures used

Yeah there may well be some inacuartises but the imagery (i found) overpowered this and I personally. I have read quite a few books on Wicca now and even tho the over tone is the same - there are differencies and you can take from this whatever you like. The spelling doesnt matter to me for incase you havent noticed by my posts - I am very dyslexic myself.
I have found on my life path that whoever stands before me is my teacher (even if they teach you what an arsehole is and that you will never behave as they do). So the video for me was the best representation i have seen in a long time (apart from the Wicca man of course-haha).

Good way to tackle life I think. If only more people were that enlightened maybe the world would be a better place.

A truly aesthetic work of art with the appropriate sufi music, but Andy, wouldn't a speel chucker detract from the character of the film? I'm glad they used a guy in bib overalls to represent the knowledge of the henge. Knowing such megaliths are agarian in nature, it really annoys me to see those token druids in the silly robes hanging around them. Indeed it does Wicca justice to be regarded as home grown folk wisdom or the aspirations of the alchemists of olde.

I couldn't watch this properly as it kept stopping and starting - don't know what the problem is there, we have broadband so shouldn't have been a problem.

It will have been buffering onto your system, generally with youtube if you press the pause button, the video will continue to buffer until it's finished (keep an eye on the progress bar to see what I mean. once that gets to the end press play again and it should play without stopping.

I have that problem too but I found a solution. Let it play through to the end on its own, then replay. The reply comes out as it should be without interruption. I know that's tedious, but in the long run, it works.

I think that, that kind of videos are the worst representation a religion could have.
A representation should be objective as possible. This isn't. A good representive video would have been to tell about the real facts.
The historical things in it are wrong. And the "never again the burning times" - stuff is the most annoying in it.
That somebody even likes to draw and paint burned and tortured people is disgusting. Also the christian-bashing in it is not a nice thing.
A newbie in wicca who watches this video will be totally misinformed.
I think it's plain useless kitsch.
Just my two cents.

I would agree that there are some historical errors as others have said.
But I dont think that painting pictures about it is disgusting. People are inspired by many odd things and Ive seen worse. Actually I've seen a LOT worse *lol*

its not an information leaflet on Wicca - i dont think its ment to be that at all- but i think if you did see it as a newbie to wicca you would already be researching the "whole picture of wicca" anyway.
Imagery is how you see it - you only see it through YOUR eyes and YOUR perseptions. So if you do see it as a disturbing image, the anwser lies within your self as to the reasons, why you find it disturbing.
Its all about your own spiritual growth init?

I would say that the combination of music and imagery made a powerful imaginative impression, giving you a feel of earth-based mysticism and magic, transporting you out of the mundane - and whether it is factually accurate isn't really the point, because from all the different opinions I've read, there is no definitive version of Wicca any more.

That was beautiful. However...
Yes even I picked up on some possible innaccuracies, and it was a bit didactic.
And I wish the film had lingered longer on some of the gorgeous artwork rather than the photographs of people I don't know and am never likely to meet...
Good effort though.
If I was clever enough I'd have a go at a video.
