Hi all,
Am desprately seeking a druid priest/priestess who can handfast me and my other half to be. the handfasting is planned for august in the norfolk broads area. Please don't say try liferites, already did that and all they did was to take a long time in letting me down . Any other suggestions would be welcome though.

Can anyone help me find someone who can perform handfastings? I am getting married in June next year and would love to have one. I have found lots of sites about the ceremony but none how to find someone to do it for me. Please help!!

Oh, you don't say where you live. I know that a few years ago, a couple around the corner to me had a Handfasting ceremony, dont know who did it though. I think I know which house they live in (it has some beautiful glass with bats on it), but don't know them to knock and say "hi" unless you lived near me then I would pop a note through for you.

Have you tried doing a search on "handfasting" in this forum? Because this is a question that has been asked before.

I think Rhianna and her partner do handfasting ceremonies.

Or you could try asking Queenie who is the current handfastingzilla (Roar, stomp, growl etc) Of course she is a handfastingee rather than a a handfastinger.

It would help if you gave us a clue as to what part of the country you are in!

Me and my husband Martin, act as handfasting and naming celebrants all over the country. Having seen other handfasting celebrants in action, I have to admit to being pretty darned good at what we do

Our main aim with any handfasting or naming is to give the couple or family the perfect day of their dreams. We are able to provide advice for the ceremony, advice on finding the venue and arranging permission from land owners, advise on how not to upset any Born Again Great Aunt Agathas, etc. We don't limit ourselves to pagan handfastings, we also do secular ones.

We do about 20 handfastings and namings a year, from Yorkshire down to Cornwall. This year we're even doing a handfasting in the middle of a river - that will be, ermmmmm, interesting! Sharing in someone's special day is not a bad hobby to have.
