can anybody please help or stear me in the right direction of the beliefs and customs of both the Iceni and Trinovantes celtic tribes. i know the basics but am interested to know if they had the same beliefs? i know celtic tribes of britain have similarities but it is the differences that i am interested in as there is enough out there on just 'Celtic' stuff !

did they have specific deities that they each worshipped that were different from each other and other tribes ?

are there any books or websites that are good?

i live in suffolk so have the archeology near so not too interested in the findings unless there are relevant books/websites with opinions interpreting their beliefs.

trawled google already but not found much.

so any help would be good ta smile.gif

It may only be a nov but Mary Mackie's: People of the Horse seems very well informed and it's a jooly good read too.

Hear me Caridwen! Dread spinner of fates ... Now shall bloody Andastre wind the horn that cries war! Now has Boudicca found her cause . . .

If that doesn't make you want to go and sack Colchester I don't know what will!

For straight facts Anne Ross' Pagan Celtic Britain is always worth a look.
