With the prevalence of posts requesting positive thoughts from various folks it has been decided it would be a good idea to provide a specific thread for the purpose, to prevent the Snug getting cluttered, and the threads getting lost amongst the other posts.

The idea is a simple one, if you want to ask for positive thoughts, Healing etc for yourself or others, then please feel free to post in in this thread. Folks can then add you or the person the request is for to their own healing lists.

The thread isn't so much for folks to respond with a message saying Healing on the way etc, but know that if you post a request here there will indeed be folks who are keeping you in their thoughts.

Little Luke has been diagnosed with a second stage hepatoblastoma he will start his first course of Chemo on Thursday, please keep this family in your thoughts !

Can I ask you if you've a few minutes to spare, to think of Vert's friends Alison and Jonathan. Alison miscarried her fifth baby about five months into the pregnancy, the day before Jonathan was told that his sore throat was in fact throat cancer. He starts treatment on Thursday.

All positive thoughts, energies etc would be very much appreciated - as you can imagine they and their families are devastated at this double blow.

Thoughts also to those who were friends and family of those men ,women and children were cruely burnt alive in a church in Kenya. Positive thoughts should be sent to stop this viciousness.

The troubles may be over but these people have witnessed things that should never have been seen and for many the fear has not gone away. People have been taught to hate one another because of their name and where they lived but it doesn't have to be like that always.
There is a long way to go but it can get there. Please send love to the souls of those who have lost so much and bless this country for the future.

If anyone has a spare moment I would very much appreciate some healing thoughts being sent to my father (James Murphy). He ended up in hospital christmas day with what they doctors have now decided is the longterm effects of asbestos poisoning. He just turned 80 so is rather frail and now in a lot of pain and still very sick. While we doubt at this time anything can cure him, it would be nice to at least aleviate a little of his pain.

For those of you who teach/work with challenging behaviour and believe in a second chance I call upon your favour.

For those of you that do not know I work as a teacher of young offenders and manage a programme of rehabilitation.

One of my learenrs got into a scrape when she was 14 and since then (2 years) has been with me and is making A1 progress. She is working well and really really turning the corner.

There was one court case looming from when she was 14 that kept getting postponed.

Tomorrow is the day- I would really like some energy channelled for her although, I am not asking you to be unjust- just send energy that will allow what is right to happen.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law, love is the law. Love under will.

This may sound vague but I truly truly feel that she is making such good progress and the whole cae situation(which obviously I can't go into here) is unfair and putting her into Young Offender's will in no way help her, we all deserve a second chance...........................

If you can then the case is tomorrow morning at 9.30 am

Thanks for your support and vibes. The case was at 9.30 she got in at 10.00 and the case was adjourned for two weeks.

As those of you who read my thread on magic to solve mental illness will know, I have a friend (called Rob) who suffers from anxiety and depression and who starts psychiatric counselling soon. He seems a bit brighter but I can't express how much it would mean to me for people to send healing and calming thoughts. I've been doing it a lot myself but any extra would be wonderful

I come to you all to ask if calming and sympathic vibes could be sent to the friends and family of a lady called Pam Green.

I found out today, whilst at work, that Pam passed away two days ago from a heart attack. She was 63 but still full of beans. I worked with her for 2 years. She was one of those people who used to "mother" all us young ones. She even used to bring me in Marmite sandwichs everyday when I was going through financial strife.

It has hit me pretty badly and did the very unprofessional thing of breaking down infront of my team. The funeral is being held next Tuesday.

My mother "may" go blind in 4 years unless we get a miracle or some funding to help her eyes. Your good thoughts with her?

A feling low right now and having to deal with with a number of things including health challenges, my mum dying very suddenly in odd circumstances in Dcember and everyone has left me to cope alone with zero support. I'm also concerned because my step father who ket her an alcoholic so he could use her for money has tricked her into leaving all my inheritance to him and also he has my cat who I need to find a foster home for until I move out of this flat. Healing thoughts would be so appreciated and they will come back to you from me.

Try Citizens' Advice Bureau for legal info re the will. You may get legal aid too.
If the odd circumstances involced the police then you can get counselling as well. But you have to ask.

Please for my grandson

Who will be 4 years old on 25th April, goes into Yorkhill Childrens Hospital in Glasgow tomorrow. He was born with heart defects and has had several little ops on his heart to date. On Thursday, all being well, he is scheduled to have his aeortic valve replaced. My daughter sent me a brochure which explains it all complete with photos of a child that has had this op, the photos show all the tubes, pipes and machinery to which he will be hooked up when he comes back from surgery. He'll be kept sedated for up to 48 hours to prevent him pulling these tubes etc out. He's only tiny, although he is nearly 4 he wears clothes suitable for a 18 month old child. He's a cheeky little scamp and rules the roost in his home. However my daughter tells me that recently he is becoming more and more blue so this op is essential. He was meant to have this done a while ago but he got sent home from hospital for various reasons. We have managed to get him this far this time with no sniffles etc. Tomorrow he goes in to get settled, Wednesday is tests etc to make sure that he has no infections, then Thursday he goes to surgery. My daughter says they won't know it's happening for sure until she carries him down to theatre.

Am I worried about all this, yes you better believe it. People tell me this surgery is every day stuff now, well it may be every day stuff to those who carry it out, but it isn't every day that one of mine is the one being operated on. I am terrified that something will go wrong.

Please everyone that reads it remember him on Thursday and put all healing thoughts to help him and our family get through this traumatic time.

I know how you feel, my youngest daughter was diagnosed with cancer at 8 months old. She is fine now and is nearly 3 yrs old. I will be sending some healing.

Update on Grandson

My son-in-law has just informed me that all is well and Gio is scheduled for his 4 hour surgery at 8:30 tomorrow morning.

He went down to surgery a little later than anticipated. Daughter phoned me at 10 to say she had just left him in aneasthetic room after him being knocked out. She sounded very stressed but her hubby is with her now. Will be tea time roughly before we hear any more.
