In relation to my post on the
Guilsborough Witches, I just found
this and thought it was rather fascinating.

Puts me in mind of another Cromwell Street actually, possibly in the postcode GL1

Very interesting and I'd love to see one of those stone idols they dug up.
Also a tad naughty though - the entire essay was lifted (and it's copyright too!) from here

It's sad how things go missing you know. They dug up some old coffins from a Roman fort in Guilsborough in the late 1800s and no-one has a clue where they are now, not even Northampton museum, who'd never heard of the witches! Same for an old wooden print block of them. Love to know where they ended up.

Horse trough and kindling no doubt! Hey - at least that would have been recycling...

Ah, I think this explains the copy issue, from the author:
I do have to clear up something

The "Cromwell's Curse" is entirely fiction made up by me as is the Northampton Witches (apart from the names). I mixed fact with fiction to create "a background story" for the short film my nephew and I shot. We also had a "fake site" set up about the curse and the short film.
All the links (including the one to watch the short film) are available on my blog. See these links:
