Hi all.
Ok.I am unable to attend my orders summer solstice celebraton this year.
This being so,can anyone suggest a celebration/ritual or whatever that one can perform alone.
The other problem being that I live in a non pagan environment(non pagan wife, and young family)
Any suggestions or advice would be invaluable to me,as I am new to wicca, havinghad a high magick background.
Blessings to all.

I like the way you quote "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law, love is the law , love under will" at the start and finish of all of your posts. Good to see you keep to Thelemic tradition there!
I am hoping to go to a sacred site myself with a couple of fellows. Maybe Avebury maybe some other sacred site. Just make sure that you do something!!

Forget the solstice stuff, maybe after a few years of high ceremonial ritual observance, a day in bed with the non-pagan missus might be a rest that would do you good and might even convince her there's something in it ....

Can someone explain where I can find out more about the '93' and the relevance to the Thelamic Tradition and our good friend Crowley?

Does it have to be Wiccan? I'd suggest just keeping it very simple - just something to symbolise the strength of the sun's power - candle or something like that.

The Bus numbers to & from Morpeth to Blyth, one was a single, the other a Double-Decker.
When I was a kid, a trip to Morpeth on midsummers day was like a trip to the Moon

My ex-husband comes from Morpeth - we had some grand times there - I love the beaches and countryside in Northumberland.

Not specifically Wiccan, but I like to find a hill somewhere with a good view northeast to watch the sunrise.

I usually light a candle and have complete solitude whilst I drink a nice hot choc with marshmallows, whipped cream and a choc flake. Devine for me thank you

I'm going to go watch the sunrise on a beach, possibly with a few friends, possibly not. I was going to be going to avebury or the henge, but I think plans have changed now. I've always seen the festivals in the way its not really important how you mark it, just as long as it means something to you.

We get up and watch the sunrise, then husband makes celebratory breakfast of pancakes

. Spend the day doing lovely family things - preferably something outside - and we've been giving our son "festival" presents at each quarter, hopefully so he won't feel disadvantaged by not having Xmas

. I do a big veggie roast dinner in the evening and we do a short family ritual which is more thanking the Gods and planning for the future than any elemental meaning. That's our family stuff - I dress my altar and make an offering apart from that.
We've been invited to a local group for the last 2 or 3 festivals so I'm hoping we may get a chance to get together for a more general gathering too.
