Full Version: Avebury - Wrong Way?
UK Pagan, The Valley > The Circle (all pagans together) > General Paganism

Just visited Avebury after Cheddar Gorge on way up to Cambridge from Devon yesterday.

We wandered around the whole site, slowly, in low evening sun and had a lovely time.

BUT we started off in the same direction as everyone else (anti-clockwise) and ended up being attracted by a tree and went anti-clockwise.
Did we do wrong?

And we thought all the fairy ribbons left on the tree were lovely!

The first time I went there the stones told me which way to go. Thinking about it, I went anti-clockwise.

But then, I don't bother about Wiccan conventions in anything. It's much better to go with your instincts - the wights are probably speaking to you. smile.gif
