I was being 'observed' by a deity, whose not one of my patrons. One evening, at bedtime, he gave me a series of images of 'green' men. Not the knotty, foliate head types, but, light sage green young men, perfect, like statues made of sage coloured marble.

Very odd, incredibly erotic, it all got even odder after that, but I'd blush to share!

There was also Herne (the deity not our Herne - just thought I'd spare any confusion). He's not my patron, but used to hang around a Christian work colleague. Every time he turned up, he'd give off these amazing phunky forest lord pheromones, which had quite aphrodisiacal qualities.

Well in the last few years I have veered towards the Vanatru path, and specifically The Lady. I have experienced very deep feelings along the lines you describe, an extraordinary feeling of love and protection.

I know someone who has dedicated himself to Tyr and whose experiences are similar.

Oh yes. My patron goddess is, apart from the kick-ass stuff, also goddess of female sexuality. There have been times when I was inadvertantly channelling Her, and my coven brother was channelling Old Horny, and......it was very hard to concentrate! The energy was both earthy and unearthly, almost palpable, and extremely intense.
