I seem to find conflicting views on this.
Some systems say energy flows in through the right hand and out through the left hand, but others say that it is the other way round.
To confuse matters, when I teach QiQong we say that men and women are mirrored, so what is left on a man is right on a woman. just throwing in some eastern stuff there..
So my question is ... do you find your energy flows from your left and right, and is it gender specfic?

depends on what i want to do - mainly in the left & out the right - but I can change it if I need to

If you really want to ask, then in and then out. But don't ask me the direction!

"...To my right comes the power of reason, to my left flows the power of healing..." (Marian Green).
There is more than one thing going on, and there is a flow away and a flow in on each hand.
But in general the right hand gives, and the left hand takes away (pain, etc). Speaking personally.

ah, now, I don't experience that at all.
If I were going to locate the feeling, I'd connect with something skin to the chakras, that being something a fellow pagan used to express her feelings. I experience an inflow from downwards and backwards and an outflow forwards through the hands and feet. But that some from dealing with gods. They have a tendency (YMMV) of pushing one from behind and above.

Is this irrespective of handedness? Is there an immutable 'mapped flow' , so to speak?

Wow. I dont experience my energy like that at all.
I pull in with both hands and head and heart and release from the same.

Either way 'round, but I prefer 'in on the right and out on the left', due to being left-handed.

Definatly in left and out right. Funny, I thought that was sort of universal, but I see lot of you experience the flow the other way around! Interesting! Individual like everything else I guess.

Interesting. I've heard left in, right out is standard. But just to confuse things, although my hands are instrumental in directing energy flow, it
feels as if it actually leaves me just below my ribs, in the solar plexus region.

wow this is a new one on me! I connect to energy, not pulling it in through one side, but literally immersing in it. I don't send it out through one side either.

I don't have a particular side that energy flows in or out of, I tend to pull energy in from my feet up and let it flow through everywhere, before directing it out through both my hands. I only do it that way cos thats how i was shown, although I guess I could pull in and push it out from just about anywhere if I chose to.
I have heard about the left in, right out thing before, but even after experimenting to try and work out if it was the other way round for me being left handed, I haven't noticed any difference for either hand.
It's interesting how different people experience their own flows of energy, I never realised there was so much variation before

I just kind of draw from everywhere to my gut, then expell it sort of from my eyes/forehead.

Energy flow is purely that for me, it flows. I tend to naturally use my right hand for projection cause I am right handed but its only a mind set, there is no preset, people will naturally tend to project with hteir dominant side and recieve with the passive. But I can use either side. As has been said its not even really down to sides, though if you are just beginning to work with energy the "body circuit" concept can be helpful to comprehending energy "flow". Interestingly although Ive said it doesnt matter, my projection ring goes on my right hand and my diffusion one on my left...

I seem to draw energy in to my chest and stomach and then send it out whichever way I want.

When it flow in from a side as it were, it's in through the left and out through the right.
I wonder if that makes me an "unreasonable healer?"
Sounds about right!!!!
