I have been using a pendulum for some time now and I would love to get into other forms.
What are your favourite forms of divination?

Mirror, but I prefer deep visualisation.

A normal mirror or a black scrying mirror? How do you use it?

You can use an ordinary one - the older the better as they tend to be less bright and shiny (IMO only). Gaze into it, allowing eyes to sort of defocus. You can use a candle or moonlight - up to you. Or a black bowl full of water works fine too. Any shiny type of surface - ponds etc too.

Sounds interesting.
I did a similar past life scrying session. I stared into a mirror only lit by a candle and stared at it until my face began to change. I was only 14 and I couldn't sleep all night.

Have had good results with filling my cauldron with water and adding some black ink..
Candle light really helps your eyes defocus.

I like cards, I keep trying with runes but don't connect to them very well. but the best way is just looking at someone and getting a flash of something going to happen or something in their past that is still effecting them.
doesn not happen everyday but when it does its spot on.

I find I use divination less and less. People ask me from time to time, but I don't use it for myself. Tarot I've done for ages - for nearly forty years now.
Recently I've been using ogham twigs, which work nicely. That would be my preference now.

I use cards, all kinds, Tarot, Goddess, Good Witch, Bad Witch, Wiccan Oracle. I also use the Witch Runes (different from the usual runes). But its the voices I hear that do the work.

I use my tarot cards most often, I find them easier to read than anything else - I recently got around to buying my own Tarot Of The Old Path deck after I kept nicking my friends to use instead of mine
I can and do use other things, like pendulums and stone casting, but the cards just work better for me. I never really got to grips with the runes, although I keep trying! And I'm hopeless at scrying, I have never seen anything in a bowl of water or a dark mirror, however much I want to - ah well!

Have used a pendulum in the past but runes are the ones I use these days.

If I use anything at all it has to be tarot or angel cards.

Regular playing cards work the best for me. Probably as I've used those the longest and had a great teacher.
For all I love the imagery in various tarot decks, I've never been very good with it. I get distracted with the pictures and bogged down trying to decide why the artist chose the imagery/color, etc.

The Tarot, but diffrent decks will give diffrent results.

Runes. Definitely runes. They tend to be more to-the-point, if a little fatalistic for some palates. That's the thing about being a divination method that's set out to be a warning of something that could well happen if you don't do something about it... the readings do tend to come out somewhat... "oooh, you'd better be careful...".

I used to use the Runes a lot, but have veered more towards Tarot, though I'm really very green. I use my pendulums too, my favourite is my clear quartz one, but I think they tell me what I want to hear now. I've tried scrying but I'm pretty useless at it, so am settling on trying to learn more about Tarot.
Does anyone do any meditations on the cards? I wondered if this was a useful way to get a feel for them?

I can do tarot. I can even do palms, apparently, if I'm drunk enough (I don't think I want to go there again given what I'm supposed to have said...

), but I prefer runes. Simple and, IME, accurate.

I do tarot, but wouldn't rate myself as fantastic.
I like fire, so enjoy pyromancy and also enjoy scrying. I tend to use a dark bowl and a scrying powder, made from all sorts of interesting things.

I like fire. But I wouldn't say what I throw on it comprises pyromancy!

My preference is cards, but that might be because cards is what I know, how I learned.
I have an archangel oracle deck, a goddess oracle deck, a crystal ally oracle deck and an animal medicine card deck. I am really at home with these and particularly when I use the archangel cards a lot of information 'comes through' - like channelling, I suppose, but far less dramatic.
I feel "ready" to learn tarot but couldn't find a deck that I loved. I now have thanks to a link someone posted here, but it's not yet published so I guess I should just wait.
I have been known to cast crystals on occasion and I very, very occasionally use my quartz pendulum, although I use it more for dowsing chakras and healing work because I don't know whether it is spirit answering yes or no or my own will making the pendulum spin or swing in a particular way - it seems to give me a lot of answers that are what I want to hear, and I don't know how to stop it.

I have never been able to get to grips with divination. But if I have a problem, I think about it and think about it, and then I stop thinking about it, and I know the answer. I guess that's similar.

I used to use a pendulum but stopped because I found it went a bit haywire whenever I was pregnant
Scrying was not great for me, it worked really well except I always felt out of control with it, didn't like that feeling.
Tarot works well for me but I keep it to a minimum as I don't seem to have figured out how to ground myself properly yet and its always my own energy I end up using and it leaves me exhausted

I love my tarot and oracle cards. I've recently started working with a basic tarot deck and am loving the richness of it (although overwhelmed as to how I'll ever be able to do it without referring to the book!).
I used to use a pendulum but I've lost it and I don't want to get a new one because I really bonded with the old one

.
I have a bowl for scrying but have never managed to see anything.

Always used the Tarot since childhood. My favourite Deck is the Forest Folklore Deck, am getting to know the Faerie Oracle by Brian Froud..... very beautiful and very spiritual. Runes don't do owt for me though.

Ive used Tarot and Runes, both are ok, but they only really work well, when you are not to desperate for an answer!
In those situations, I usually resort to plan for the worst and hope for the best!

I use runes and a pendulum. I do have 2 tarot decks - Sacred Circle cos it's pretty, and Rider Waite to try and get back into using tarot, but I seem to have more affinity with the runes.

Tarot the druidcraft deck works wonderfully for me, runes occasionally as they do tend to be more direct and can be a great help when needing a result in a pinch

Runes for me. I've got set of stones for over 15 years now and they rarely let me down and I've recently got some Old English rune cards that are beautifully illustrated and good to work with.
I keep wondering about giving Tarot ago but have never got round to it......yet.
