I'm wondering if anyone could help me explain what this means. A couple of nights ago when i was in bed i closed my eyes and the first image that came up was that of the green man? What does this mean?

Well, I guess the first and most obvious question is: what do YOU think it means?

The Green Man is a Fertility symbol - or it may be more accurate to say "insemination symbol". Are you feeling broody? Planning a family? Extending one? Or spotted someone you just might fancy a little bit?

You don't have to answer these questions - it's just to get you thinking.

With me, I don't put to much meaning into the things I see sometimes when I close my eyes. It's often kind of faces that keep morphing into hidious looking things. I've see those thing all the time and never have been able to figure out why or where it comes from.

When I see faces like that they usually morph into other faces, and then others, and yet others. I let them keep going until I see some-one I recognize,usually some-one who has died. At that point I generally fall asleep and have a dream reunion. I don't actually care whether it's real or not, I just treasure those dreams.

How do you know it was the Green Man?

Merry meet.The Green Man is my mentor every time I meditate no matter where my guide wants me to go I get waylaid by "Him" and he takes me somewhere else.He never speaks to me but I hear him and it sinks in to my mind,we go to wonderful forest places,some of which I remember from my childhood in Hainault forest and Epping, my two animal guides come with us as well,I have a fox and a badger they are very prorective of me as well.I think that Herne had something to do with that as well.
Maybe he wants to be your mentor as well??

i do this too when im trying to get to sleep,i told someone once and she looked at me like i was a nutcase,im glad its not just me then i was getting worried
