Where is the year going, I cannot believe that today is autumn equinox. I'm still waiting on summer. Today's weather has been more like spring but from today we have longer darkness than we have daylight and that's what I hate.

Oh I always thought it was 21st March, and 21st Sept, with 21st Jun and December being the solstices.

The solstices and equinoxes are the festivals that move around, and the other 4 are fixed. It is hard to remember when they all are (and my Lunabar died with my old PC *snif*) so I use sites like this one:

Today has been Summer's last hoorah methinks, been lovely here, but you can see already the light altered and know that it's going to be dark very soon.
