Given it's Google's 10th anniversary today and how far they've come in that time - I was just wondering if anyone here does corporation astrology: looking at the birth charts (as it were) of companies and looking at their successes and losses in relation to the planets?
I'd be interested to know the birth details of Google. Date must be 27th September 1998 - but where and what time I wonder?

Interesting! What is the birth time of a Corporation or Company? Good point, is it the legal placing of documents of Incorporation maybe, some sort of registration time - or unlike with people is the moment of conception also the moment of birth? Might be a convention like start of business first day, ie 9.00 am.
I have never tried it but my astrology teacher who was student of Madeline Montalban used to do charts for businesses back in the '60's so there is probably a method. I shall dig out my notes and look.

It's a contentious question. I'd take it from the day the company was registered...or the day the logo was first designed...difficult one. Time would also be questionable - but you'd want an Ascendant.

I'd probably start with 'registration' if you can find a recorded time but as the considerations include a relationship with the public, and with stocks and launches for example you would need that very much, you would want the date and time of float and that would be at least as important as registration.
Google has a very, very important connection to 'others' through search engines - and another entirely different relationship through public perception of it. And then you have the actual stock traded. I think this would be a very complicated astrological problem!
Fo example, Google filed for IPO (initial public stock offering) in September 2004, I don't know when and where it finally listed but for the purposes of this thread it shows how complicated it would be. Would you use the IPO filing date, the market listing date (and which PLACE, could have been New York or even NASDAQ which is cyber space ...).
Working the planets and houses would be pretty straight forward after all that, but this initial decision of what and where and when is crucial. IMO, lol
If you are a lot better than me, you could work rectification astrology back through these other dates and find the ascendant much as is used for people without an exact time.
Then of course you get CEO changes, ownership changes and the way the major personalities running the corporation affect it. Good luck!
