Hi all (Tas)

I know how you love to research on t'internet.....

Does anyone have anything apart from wiki about this good?

Not sure about spelling or pantheon.

Had a visit last night, may be nothing important but can only find normal \kind of stuff on web..

Anyone?

Gryphon
Thats either the name of the Greek ferryman of the dead spelt wrong (Charon) or the Wise Centaur who taught Hercules and Jason amongst many of the greek heroes.
He was immortal but was permitted to die (that or eternal agony). Afterwards he was placed in the sky as Sagittarius. Very wise and well loved

Charon carried the souls of the dead across the Styx. Which is why the dead were buried with a (silver?) coin under the tongue, no cash and you stayed on the other side.

Unless Hermes liked you and helped you out...
Athena
I noticed that his name is also spelled Kheiron

...might help with the searching a bit...wait for Tas wink.gif

Kheiron would be the authentic Greek transliteration.

There's a lot around about the wounded healer. It's worth reading the original myths, as well. smile.gif

Tas, you are a diamond!

Here's a little bump from me too! It looks like not many people work with or know of our little Cheiron then...
