Ever feel like there's something or maybe someone looking over/after you?

I often can almost 'hear' a little voice, literally at the back of my mind telling me things. Like, just before I've gotten bad news, the 'voice' (it's not exactly a voice, hard to describe) tells me first! And sometimes, if i haven't a notion where i am and i'm undecided about which direction to go in, without thinking I'll just start moving a certain way and so far I've not gotten hopelessly lost anywhere! but I do feel like I'm being pushed and guided and it's not me making the decisions.

Yesterday at work i had to find some information on the computer system, which i have rarely used and i certainly hadnt been shown how to get this information, ever. But it was a high pressure situation and the little voice told me where to look. For no reason, i clicked a random link and it was right.

The only person looking for me that way is me, although sometimes I do a better job than other times.

Ah! The "little voice"; me & my husband both have this and that's what we kiddingly call it. I guess what you believe about it's source depends on your belief system period. I will question the voice, but never ignore it. For us it's a cross between empath issues and some non-concious precog. I've found it to be a mixed blessing, as are most gifts.

I'm a firm believer in following my instincts and frequently get gut reactions or feelings but that's about it.

No voices,do get feelings though..

I don't know about voices either but I definitely feel that someone is watching over me. Especially when I am really low I can almost feel myself being pulled back up and when I'm afraid or alone I can feel that someone is watching over me. Guiding me, telling me everything will be OK.

As for directions - I know what you mean on that score too.... I hardly ever find myself lost - I follow my instinct (perhaps the voices you are on about is a feeling to others) I agree with TD that it depends on your belief system as to what you think these things mean.

For me it's very personal and I believe that it's people who have passed who are keeping me safe and strong....... when it comes to everyday kind of stuff I just believe it's instinct - where that comes from I have never questioned I just follow it and I don't feel that I should question it.

A bit like Willow not sure about the voices but I have feelings and know when I've gone through a hard time it not just been me pulling me through.

A also believe in angels (totally off topic) but on a couple of occasions when my life was in danger I've heard a vice call my name and I've turned round or stopped in my tracks just to watch as a car goes speeding past that would of knocked me over if it hadn't been for the voice...

Sorry for drifting.

Directions: As I call it I follow my feet...I've never got lost no matter where I've moved too...I always seem to know where to go. I have a great sense of direction.Whether that be a gift or guidence I don't know.

The subject line made me immediately think of this comic.

Like lots of other people here, I'm all for following instincts, but no little voices here.
