I googled it and found this..

Blue Goldstone

and this quote:

Blue Gold Stone
"To View Life through childlike Eyes
Brings Wonder Excitement and Surprise"
Blue Goldstone brings an energy of mystery, excitement wonder and intrigue. A childlike feeling bringing a thirst for knowledge. Excellent for those who have lost the zest for life and have become bored. Uplifting stone working well in meditation allowing you to get in touch with the universe.

Oooo... and you'll LOVE this....

Goldstone is actually manmade being a glittery glass synthetic and is normally copper coloured. Blue goldstone like a wonderful midnight starry sky smile.gif

I have a blue goldstone, it's lovely, and it works fine for me. I would say from my experience with it that its uplifting and balancing smile.gif

Blue Goldstone is also good for transmitting Reiki energy if you haven't been trained to Master level- its a good healing stone and focus for meditation.
It's made from blue glass with copper flecks, 'ordinary' goldstone is plain glass with copper flecks. Both pretty to look at!

That's very interesting - I have a sphere of that stone too, but here it was called Blue Sunstone - with the gold variety being called sunstone.

Sunstone is a natural crystal, related to moonstone biggrin.gif Goldstone is the manmade version and alot sparklier.

If you have a dark blue stone with flecks of gold in it that is natural it might be blue aventurine or perhaps a dark lapis. Mostly the darkblue sparkly stones are man made though. I cant help with the healing or meditation properties of blue goldstone as I don't own one. I do like natural sunstone though.

I live in Australia, so it's quite possible that we have different names for things. In any case, it was definitely called blue sunstone. It is a manmade stone, as was the (gold) sunstone, and it looks the same as the stone in the pictures posted smile.gif

Actually found out that sunstone and goldstone are different stones.Goldstone is alot easier to get in Australia but if you search ebay you can get it.Recently bought some chip strands thinking it was sunstone but found out they are completely different.Would love to find out where i could get blue goldstone from.
