Help out there! Ma's memory has gone and done it again. Funny how I can remember some things like a video in my head and others just disappear

Can any of you remember an old rhyme about sneezing? My old Ma used to say one was a wish, something, something, letter, something better. And six was hay fever according to her.

I only ask because a neighbour sneezed this morning and I said "A tes souhaites" which means "to your wishes" which is our version of Bless You or Gezuntheit and that made me think of one sneeze = wish.

There, you knew there would be some cockeyed logic in there somewhere, didn't you?

Well bless you all for the kind ones you are. Givenup - I really should do my own Googling, shouldn't I? Lazy cow I am. It was deffo the number of times you sneeze that Old Ma used and I wasn't even sure she wasn't making it up, which she did on a regular basis. Well known facts in our house usually stemmed from last Tuesday!

Don't worry about it, it started to annoy me when I got
"Sneeze on a tuesday..." you'll crash your computer/ find a suitor/ stop a looter/ become a lotter who runs away with crashed computers? Ad infinitum. So I also needed to google for my state of mind!
