Celtic astrology fascinates me and seems to match me so much better than the commen zodiac. It actually is segregated into 'months' for the moon (making my b'day land in the 13th month, so suits me)
Either case I found this great site with a lot of info and thought I would share.
Celtic AstrologyIt's worth having a gander at. And I would love to know what people think of this. Or if anyone else has heard of it.

Thanks Lynae, that's as good a site as I've seen to explain the tree calandar, my tree is spookily accurate too.

Just as long as people are aware that it isn't historically accurate, and was created by Robert Graves.

The calander itself or the info on the page? Not enough info sorry willowfae. Just not quiet undrestanding

I think (hope) Willowfae means the calendar itself. The only Celtic calendar with any real history to it is the Coligny calendar (a series of stone tablets dating to the first century BCE providing a record of the Gaulish (and thus Celtic) year). It wasn't until the 19th century that Edward Davies inferred from Ruairí Ó Flaitheartaigh 16th century work Ogygia that the Celts had used a 13 month calendar with the names of the months taken from the names of the trees. The calendar as we know it was the work of Robert Graves. There is no evidence of it having any basis in history, it neither begins on the Celtic new year, nor does it allow for any variance in the length of the month according to the length of the moon (giving a rigid 28 days for each lunar month).
Ah now you're spoiling the romance! For the record, anything with 'Celtic' as a prefix should be viewed with a large pinch of salt but that doesn't mean it's not interesting does it?

Course not

Depends on your definition of 'interesting' mind - I'd be more inclined to describe something like this as fun...

Well that burst my bubble now didn't it

Granted people do love tacking on the word Celtic to make it more classy or something (lacking the word I want here). But the information was interesting.
Plus I mainly posted it because no-one else had in the hopes to draw out more info. (like WillowFae and then OxonPagan did)... Any more info on that Coligny calendar???

Some info on ColignySome more info on Coligny
And I think the word you wanted might have been 'mystickal' with the K very firmly in place, or possibly 'magickal/majickal/madjikkal' or similar...

I remember reading about this a few years ago and was fascinated with it as I was about Ogram.
The Coligny calendar was engraved in Gaulish language but had Roman style letters and numbers and showed a system of time divided by lunar months. A month started from the full moon, some years had 12 months and others had 13 and the lengths of months apparently were variable.
It is possible this was constructed during the time the Julian calendar was figured and the Celts may have wanted to preserve their traditions.

I am Hazel and although my birthday is actually between Aug 1-23, the personality of Aug 24-Sept 1 seems to fit me more than the above for some reason.

Yeah that's part of the reason why I posted the link. I read bits and went "this is me" read more "Oh this is so me"
I understood this better than normal astrology!
