Okay, it starts here....I'm gonna get rid of that word, the word that inspires terror in all pagans, the word that makes baby jesus cry......[COLOR=red]FLUFFIES

I despise this word because if you think about it we were all new once and we all ask stoopid questions from time to time (newer people just do it more often) ......and another problem i have with this word is that older pagans are starting to use it at young people even if the young person has been pagan longer than them....take it from me, on other forums i used to get a lot of stick just for being 16 even though i had been pagan longer than some of the old fogies that were bitchin'

okay, now some of you are sayin "SHADUPAYOUFACE YOU BIG BALL OF FLUFF" but go on....check my introduction, bets i've bin pagan just as long as a lot of you have.....

okay i'll stop ranting now biggrin.gif

biggrin.gif ....hmmm i dont know though, a lot of pagans just go "your new/young, therefore fluff"

NEW pagan "but im smart, and read up on these things + practiced"

OLD pagan " NO NO IM RIGHT YOUR WRONG FLUFF FLUFF FLUFF FLUFF"

Hi there. Really can't think why anyone would not take you seriously! As an established and obviously learned pagan you will be aware of the fact that people with more age and experience are usually treated with respect and as potential sources of learning within the Pagan community.

I have never heard anyone be accused of being Fluffy for being young, only because they have a trivial approach to Paganism or have an inflated opinion of their own abilities.

By the way....as you are a 16, sorry I mean 18 year old you really are likely to have been studying paganism a lot less time than most other serious pagans you are likely to come across.

With the greatest respect

Ye i agree, i used to have the same deal with older pagans, but then the big 1 8 came and then two more years and now I don't suffer the stupidity of my elders anymore (well okay, so i still do, but i had to encourage the 16 yr, i mean 18 yr old kid) lol biggrin.gif

I agree with the above. I'm only 19 meself, I'm still learning.

Perhaps it would be better if we kept our fluffy rants to ourselves before/incase it gets as bad as the Xtian ranting we had on the old UKP.

Fluffies are following their own path, (showing pagans up a bit at times admittedly) which they've chosen themselves. Let them reap the rewards of their actions (those that we sometimes find undesirable) and let's just forget about them.

We're pagans (or studying paganism), they're fluffies.

I propose a no-more nit-picking attitude (unless absolutely required biggrin.gif )
