Full Version: Can Anyone Interpret A Dream For Me?

Ok, well, I have many recurring themes that run throughout my dreams from time to time. Last night I had the snake theme. Snake and Sauron (corn snake and boa constrictor respectively) were in separate tanks, but they were able to get into each others tanks and attack each other with their fangs (these snakes do not have fangs in real life). So whilst I was attempting to separate these snakes, I noticed that my cat had got into Roux's tank (corn snake) and had killed him with a slash of her claws.

Whenever I dream about snakes, I always dream of having too many to cope with, and that they are trying to escape, or eat each other. This is the first time one of my snakes has suffered a fatality within the dream context, usually it's other anonymous snakes that die.

Can anyone let me know what this might mean? I suspect it's an anxiety dream, but I don't know for sure.

Certainly sounds like anxiety to me. Usually dream interpretation 'experts' rolleyes.gif try to tell you that snakes symbolise betrayal. In your case, they symbolise something you care deeply for. The fact that you usually have too many to handle would suggest to me that you feel you've got too much on your plate but that its all too important to let any of it slide. In this dream you say you are concentrating so hard on two of them that you don't notice an 'unexpected' element coming in and killing the third. Maybe you need to take a look at your priorities and make sure you're not leaving yourself open to something that could pop up and, figuratively speaking, bite you on the bum?

There again, with the dreams I've been having recently I'm hardly the most reliable judge tongue.gif

Hi there

My first thoughts as I read your post....

Without going too indepth with your personal life .. are there any possible family problems bubbleing under the surface at the moment?

I'm sure you love your snakes like I love mine - our pets are our chosen companions, our live in family. Seeing a loved one kill and hurt another must have been horrific for you.

Keep an eye on possible family arguements .. disperse them before they get to the claw and fang stage.

love and light,

interesting interpretations, thank you. I can't think of any serious family problems, although perhaps I'm still stressed from the inlaws visiting over the weekend (his mother drives me up the wall, across the ceiling and round the bend). huh.gif

I certainly need some quiet "me" time to take stock and start my craft studies again, so perhaps it's a warning to me. thank you for your help. smile.gif

A snake ready to strike means treachery from one you least expected; killing it means victory over enemies
you love to farm
boa indicates stormy times and bad fortune. Will be wise not to listen to flattery
attack, Loss of love or security. Need for someone to care for you
cat, A feminine aspect
